What to do until it ends

So this is what I'm thinking - this is what we'll do if we can't meet together in person..

We'll use the time and make the most of our days - we'll do the work and renew our minds. We'll pray and study and learn and pray - we'll know the truth and be made free. Day by day, beholding Him, as in a mirror, we will be transformed from glory to glory!!  Hallelujah what a Saviour !

We will choose a section of the Word to spend deliberate and specific time studying - we'll do it slowly and methodically - meditating, asking the Lord to teach us His truth. We will make it the focus of our day - make Him the focus - so that by the time we are through this trial we will know Him better and love Him more.

ZOOM - we will go online and meet together - to discuss and share the truth and to encourage one another and we will do it throughout the time that we are unable to meet in person. Details will follow, probably by email, but meanwhile why not go online and check out how it works......

I will be preparing a Training Course - asking the Lord for His Word - His guidance, His leading - so that when we can meet together again we will start a new group, another group - a group of people who have a desire in their hearts to teach - a desire to share the Word - a desire to build up the body of Christ so that we can go forth and proclaim His excellence.

Would you ask the Lord if this might be for you? Think about what gives you the most joy - what delights your heart. Ask the Lord if teaching His Word might be for you - ask Him what your gifts are - how His Spirit is manifesting Himself through you, ask Him how He wants to use you within the body of Christ and then stand firm on His promise that He will give you the desires of your heart.

And finally, remember -  He is the Sovereign Lord, the King of Glory - He is the Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient God - He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow and you belong to Him.

Psalm 56:3-4,13  When I am afraid, I will put my trust in You, in God whose word I praise, in God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid, what can mere man do to me?

For You have delivered my soul from death, indeed my feet from stumbling, so that I may walk before God in the light of the living.
